Welcome to the home of the Southern Wells Wrestling Raiders. Southern Wells High School is located in the southern part of Wells County, Indiana. Southern Wells is a young wrestling program that has been producing many talented individual wrestlers. The 1st varsity team was formed in 1996. Since then we have had multiple ACAC Champions and have had one wrestler place 4th in the state in 2004. The Allen County Athletic Conference is known around the state as a very tough small school wrestling conference. With the likes of Adams Central, Bluffton, Garrett, Heritage, Leo, South Adams, and Woodlan, Southern Wells is continuing to strive for that 1st team conference championship.

Southern Wells advances 5 wrestlers to Semi-State! Benjamin Fiechter, Darin Fiechter, Levi Jones, Cain Grogg, and Seth Biberstine earned their ticket to wrestle at the Ft. Wayne Memorial Coliseum. To advance on to state, they will need to place in the top 4 at Semi-State.

**Jacob had a great run to regional! Unfortunately, he was defeated by Corey Crabtree, a talented sophomore from Muncie Southside. Crabtree went on to place 3rd. Jacob ends his senior year with a 20-15 record.

Sectional Tournament (at Jay County) 01/30/10
Southern Wells was 1 of 9 schools who participated in the Jay County Sectional. This Sectional continues to showcase state-calibur wrestling. Southern Wells filled 13 of the 14 weight classes. It was a great day for the Raiders. They stepped it up and earned a 3rd place finish in the team race with 7 wrestlers advancing on to the Individual Regional Tournament! These 7 now look to this coming Saturday, Feb. 6th where they will be seeking to advance to Semi-State. They will need to place in the top 4 at Regionals to advance onto Semi-State.
